The new virus Covid-19 has affected the way many of us live and interact for others and many are focusing on how it limits them from spending time away from friends or are annoyed with the fact that they can’t go out like they used to. Though, for me this has affected more than that, I have to stay home and teach myself things that I don’t even understand.

Before the closing of schools my SAT’s were all I could think of because college is a very big deal for me since I would be the first one out of all my brothers to actually go and it was something I was looking forwards to.  I been practicing for just that one test since freshmen year of high school and with just 2 and ½ weeks left before taking them everything closed, and the test was canceled.

Not only that but I have to wake up every morning to do assignments that I might not even understand just because I can’t physically go to school so I now have to do everything online and even when I can email the teachers about any trouble with the work it is not the same as having a one on one with them in class. This have been stressing me a lot and mostly because I’ve tried to keep my grades up because I want to have a chance to earn scholarships because of my grades but now I don’t even know if I will pass my classes which is not something that I’ve been taking lightly because again school is very important for me.

Though, I have been trying to lower my stress by setting a schedule on when to do my homework for my high school classes as well as my college class which I am taking over at the Manchester Community College. I also started working out in my house because I’ve heard that working out is a good stress reliever. Though, none of the things I’m doing really compare to my life before the Covid-19.
