The most challenging for me is to maintain being calm in this situation. After hearing from my doctor, I absolutely can NOT get infected. I have asthma and if I get infected then my life becomes a ticking time bomb. Also being indoors everyday is really draining. Normally I would’ve thought being indoors is the best possible life to live in but nope. There are places I want to be, restaurants to go to, hang out with friends. It is irritating not knowing when all of this is over. My family situation is pretty fine. Everything is fine but my mentality is really going nuts. At days I feel like everything is normal then the sudden realization kicks in and it just ruins my mood.
“Oh maybe I should visi-”
“Nevermind. What about going to the ramen s-”
“Nevermind that too. Gosh there is absolutely nothing to do.”
I feel as if this situation could improve if everyone actually LISTENED to the government and stay in their homes. I mean yeah there are people who need to leave to earn money but that doesn’t mean everyone else should just act like everything is fine. Nurses are working their butts off, risking their lives. Some even quit because it is either too risky or it’s too much to handle which I completely understand. If almost everyone stayed inside, the rate could potentially go down. If people started using disinfectants, masks, hand sanitizer, and basically any form of hygiene can help reduce the spread of COVID-19.
