Whether a new facilitator or an experienced facilitator, it can be a challenge to create a space where young people exercise their authentic voices and engage in deep discussion about their lived experiences.  This three-part training series, designed for front-line youth workers, builds on youth development principles by providing you with tools, skills and strategies that will heighten your capacity to cultivate youth voice, ownership and leadership.  This highly interactive workshop uses hands-on group activities to help youth workers learn how to create an environment that honors and prioritizes youth voices and leads to deep participation and thoughtful conversation around the issues and injustices young people experience in their daily lives.  By the end of the training, participants will better understand how to intentionally build space for youth voices to lead; and how to incorporate effective youth-adult partnerships in program design and implementation. This training takes place October 2, 16, and 23.  A commitment to all three sessions is required to enroll.
